Street and Urban Fine Art Photography
ABOUT
Michel H. Coll is a French-Spanish photographer based in Valencia, Spain. His work explores street life, urban spaces and the silent presence of people within their surroundings.
He first approached photography through film and darkroom printing, learning to see an image not only as a capture, but as an object made of light, contrast, patience and choice. That early experience still influences his way of composing, selecting and preparing photographs for print.
After years of working with portraits and studio images, his attention gradually moved toward urban life. Not as spectacle, but as a living theatre of small gestures, accidental compositions, solitude, humour, tension and tenderness.
His photographs often look for what remains unnoticed: a figure crossing a space, a fragile balance between architecture and movement, a detail that turns an ordinary scene into a visual memory.
Michel H. Coll now presents a selected body of street and urban fine art photography, available as carefully produced prints for collectors, interiors and gallery presentation.
NOT SPECTACLE BUT PRESENCE
Street Photography and Public Space
Street photography often works with real life, public space and fleeting human presence. My photographs are not intended to expose, ridicule or exploit private individuals. When people appear in my images, they are usually part of a broader urban scene, atmosphere or visual composition. I try to work with respect, discretion and proportion.
Selected works are available as fine art prints
for collectors, interiors and gallery presentation.
